Each year SDHIMA offers two scholarships – one for $1000 and one for $500 – SDHIMA is once again offering this financial assistance.  The eligibility requirements are:

*Enrolled in six credits f health information management education

*Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7

*Current member of AHIMA/SDHIMA

This is a great opportunity to be recognized by SDHIMA and gain financial assistance for you education.  Completed application packets must be postmarked by March 31, 2011.  Refer to the SDHIMA website for a copy of the packet and required materials by accessing the following Website:  www.sdhima.org from the Academics menu – Scholarships – SDHIMA 2011 scholarship packet.
