Highlights from 2026 SDHIMA Annual Spring Conference

The newly elected SDHIMA Board of Officers were announced and will serve a 2-year term from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028: Director of Education, Sarah K. Anderson, and Secretary, Amy Zell.

Thank you to Director of Education, Rachel Brown, and the Education Committee, Stacy Reck and Jill Degen, for arranging for the conference speakers, organizing the details (DSU Beacom Complex, catering, social reception, and the hotel accommodation).

There were 51 attendees at the conference, and the Basket and Purse Raffle raised $935.00 for SDHIMA.

The Credential Lottery recipient is Marlee Van Steenwyk.

A HIT/HIA Scholarship for $1,000.00 was awarded to Rachel Lovejoy.
